Over the next 3 innings TSTI's balanced attack gave them a big lead while some great defensive plays (David Kramer SS, Larry Feigenbaum OF, Steve Weisman OF) held Temple Sinai at bay for the eventual 6 inning win. B'nai Jeshurun (8-2) remained 2 games back in the loss column with a 22-5 win over B'nai Abraham. Also 2 games back is AABJD (7-2) after a 16-4 win over B'nai Shalom. In the 2nd week of the season Beth Shalom defeated B'nai Brith to give them an 0-2 start but they bounced back with 7 consecutive wins.
